Ambassador Hanum Ibrahimova met with Dorit Sallis, Managing Director of Joint Chamber of Commerce Switzerland – CIS/Georgia (JCC)

On 19 November 2017 Ambassador Khanim Ibrahimova met with Dorit Sallis, Managing Director of Joint Chamber of Commerce Switzerland – CIS/Georgia (JCC).

At the meeting they discussed Azerbaijani-Swiss bilateral relations, substantial economic reforms being carried out in Azerbaijan, favourable environment for investments to Azerbaijan as well as the organisation of joint events on the Azerbaijani economy.

The interlocutors talked about successful cooperation between the Embassy and JCC and exchanged views on the JCC Business Roundtable on “South Caucasus Markets - Armenia, Azerbaijan & Georgia - as a Gateway to the CIS, Middle East and Europe” which will be held on 9 November 2017 in Zurich.

They discussed the possibility of organization of a joint event in Switzerland in the first half of 2018 dedicated to the business environment in Azerbaijan.

Ambassador Ibrahimova also informed D.Sallis extensively about the candidacy of Baku to host World EXPO 2025.
